    Here you can still find remains of Altneufels Castle in the bushes.
    This castle probably served as a refuge and was therefore not permanently inhabited. Since it stood high above the river Kupfer, it is one of the spur castles of the tower hill castle (moth) type. You can still see the foundation walls of the residential tower and the moats running north of the castle.
    In a southerly direction the terrain drops steeply towards the Kupfertal.
