    The small spring church in Schöllenbach used to be a pilgrimage church. The spring water and the image of Mary in the church miracles were said. At that time the church was considerably larger, but in the context of the Reformation pilgrimages lost considerable importance. Over time, the church decayed until it was rebuilt in the late 18th century in the form of this small church.
