Riale is an Italian hamlet located in the far north of the Piedmont region. The hamlet is part of the Piedmontese municipality of Formazza, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. Riale is the northernmost hamlet of Piedmont and is located at 1718 m above sea level in the Central Alps.
