After you've travelled along the remote Ardnish Peninsula, you'll reach Peanmeanach Bothy, an old schoolmistresses' house now used as accommodation for the weary hiker who is looking for a back to basics shelter.

On the beach you can also camp well and observe the stars at night under suitable conditions. There is a common room with a fireplace and seating. Toilet is in the form of a spade plan ...
