Embark on the Monte Legnoncino Military Road Trail, a moderate hike that begins on an old military road, guiding you through a welcoming forest of larch and fir trees. This 2.2-mile (3.5 km) journey involves gaining 703 feet (214 metres) in elevation, typically taking about 1 hour and 21 minutes to complete. Along the way, you will find a panoramic bench offering views of Lake Como, a perfect spot for a short break. The trail culminates at the Monte Legnoncino Summit Cross, where you are greeted by 360-degree views of Lake Como, the Valvarrone, and the Alps. A white statue of the Virgin Mary also marks the summit.
