Vandring

Upon arrival at the train station, either by DB or by public bus, the red-brick reception building catches the eye. It was built at the end of the 19th century. Individual motifs of the building are attributed to the Renaissance period. Opposite the railway tracks, a tower was added to the station. The station building is a listed building. The square around the train station is very busy.
In the station is a restaurant with a nice patio and provides the basis for unwinding and enjoying. Salads and steaks are served.

The station was opened in 1870. It is to be attributed to the style of the late historicism, even if individual motifs from the Renaissance are to be seen. The building has a tower on the street side. It is a listed building.
