Mountainbiking

A wonderful place in South Tyrol. We always like to go here, because here everything is offered what you need for an active holiday. Beautiful nature, very good hotels and restaurants, great hiking and biking trails, as well as many cable cars and lifts, if you want to take it easy leisurely

There are three churches and a mausoleum next to each other. All churches have different construction goals and sizes. From the cemetery you have a beautiful view of the valley.

The patronage "Maria (or in another spelling: Assumption of Mary") of this church in Schenna refers to one of the many memorial or festival days in honor of the Mother of God Mary. It goes back to the festival of her physical assumption into heaven, which the church celebrates annually on August 15th.
In many rural areas it is customary for bundles of herbs (called "Kruggweusch" in the Rhenish dialect) to be collected by the population on this day and blessed in the festival service.
