Vandring

The station Wuppertal-Varresbeck (in short: Varresbecker station) is a station in Wuppertal. It is located on the 1879 opened and in this section largely decommissioned in 1991 "Wuppertal Nordbahn". He met the historic station class II OK.

Vandring

The burrow is particularly visible in winter when the trees and bushes are still bare. There is no direct access.
Opposite is a huge fallow area that used to house countless tracks for freight traffic from the company FAG Kugelfischer (later taken over by Schäffler).
That too will soon be history - ball bearings, e.g. B. for wind turbines, are now produced cheaper in Romania! 😐

Vandring

The listed building now has new owners, who initially set up outdoor gastronomy - after renovations conforming to the preservation of historical monuments, later also indoor gastronomy and possibly a cabaret stage. This would then be the westernmost gastronomy on the Nordbahntrasse (so far).
In particular, since there are still problems at the Ottenbruch train station, I have certain hopes - the new owners already have experience with a restaurant on Wangerooge!
I hope Corona doesn't destroy all hopes again!
