Vandring
At the hut you can get hearty food, snacks and cakes. There are also drinks and ice cream. You can spend the night in the dormitory. Thursdays are closed and the hut may also be closed in bad weather. It is best to check the website beforehand: kesselalm.com.

Vandring
For those who like it easy, the Kesselalm can be reached via a supply road. It's still going uphill. Reward yourself with a Kaiserschmarrn (€ 11.50 / as of Oct. 2020) that is second to none. But the other dishes are also highly recommended.
Well strengthened you can, among other things, hike up to the Breitenstein (mountain!).
