Vandring

GRUTTA DAS TORRES
One of the longest lava caves in Portugal. Very:) detailed 11 / 2h tour over 300 m cave. You get a helmet and a flashlight and should wear sturdy shoes. The cave itself is many km long but these are not accessible to tourists.

Vandring

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from the cave itself, as flashing light is prohibited because of the bacteria that live here, stars. Admission costs € 8 for adults. Guided tours are offered at regular intervals (from 4 people), helmet and flashlight included. The tour lasts about 1 hour and is very informative. Absolute highlight on Pico
