Again and again one is overwhelmed by the magnificent mountains. A well-walked forest path or the driveway lead from Tannheim to the Vilsalpsee.

From the Neunerköpf valley station, this circular hike first leads to the Schochenspitze, then past the Lache to the Landsberger Hütte and over the Traualpsee to the Vilsalpsee back to the Neunerköpfle valley station.
From the valley station you can also take the mountain railway up to the summit and from Vilsalpsee there is also the Tannheimer Alpenexpress (little train) to the car park at the valley station.
This tour was awarded the Tyrolean Mountain Path seal of approval.
