The refuge is located at the foot of Pelmo. The Alte Vie delle Dolomiti 1 and 3 pass through here. Furthermore, in this place you can admire Monte Cristallo, Croda Marcora and Antelao.

It rises on the southeastern slopes of the Pelmo, about 200 meters from the wide pasture saddle Passo di Rutòrto, with a panoramic view of the nearby Cadore Dolomites.
As a starting point for the characteristic ball band and the further route to Monte Pelmo and as a popular destination for pleasant walks and excursions.
A climbing wall is about 10 minutes away. It lies on the old hiking routes through the Dolomites No. 1 and 3.

Rifugio Venezia (hut) is located at 1947 mt right below Pelmo. from here pass Alta via # 1 and Alta via # 3. Great view on Cristallo, Croda Marcora and Antelao.
