The Maaßener Gaipel stamping station offers several things: a great panoramic view of Lautenthal. Mining history you can touch - if you like, you can take the mining trail from Lautenthal up to Maaßener Gaipel. A stamping station of the HWN and the stamping station is also part of the Wildemanner hiking badge. And: there is also a restaurant. What more could you want?!

The Maaßener Gaipel above Lautenthal was built in 1924 by the Harz Club Lautenthal branch and was modernized and expanded in 1978.
Today a great place to stop for a break with a panoramic view of Lautenthal ⚒️🎨📸
