The Fonda Savio refuge is located halfway along the Bonacossa path and intersects the Durissini path. The opening period goes from 15 June to 30 September, the structure has 20 beds and 20 bunks available.

In contrast to the hustle and bustle at the car park at the Drei Zinnen at the Rifugio Auronzo, this is a real gem: It is wonderfully quiet, the hut is beautifully embedded in the midst of majestic rocks and thus gives time and opportunity to see the whole scenario that surrounds the hiker at this point to absorb and enjoy. Splendid!
