The Sao Bento city station was built as a sack station at the beginning of the 20th century. The tracks lead into a tunnel directly after the platforms and it is special and worth seeing thanks to its large-format images. Many groups of visitors take photographs passing through the station.
A stone's throw to the north, after leaving the station hall, the beautifully designed facade of the church Igreja de Santo António dos Congregados catches the eye. The few steps to visit are also worth it.
