Vandring

In the Neolithic Age, an alluvial clay over 3 meters thick sealed the valley floor of the Pleichach, which for this reason flows all year round and does not seep into the shell limestone. Due to the steep gradient, four mills could be operated between Maidbronn and Rimpar.

Since 1975, viticulture has been practiced above the Veitsmühle again as it used to be. The vineyard Madonna, created in 1983 by artist Ernst Singer, can also be found on the rows of vines. She wears a millstone as a halo.
