Amazing 360° views in any season! It’s a tough hike to the top but well worth it for the views in every direction afforded from the top. Onawa Lake to the north and east, with Bald Mountain towering behind. Looking back towards Bodfish in the south a collection of lakes and forest stretch as far as you can see. Directly below the west side of the mountain are there three ponds: Sunrise Pond, Midday Pond, and Sunset Pond, which the trail passes on the ascent.

The trail is rough, steep, and can be technical in spots. But it is pretty short and you will be well rewarded with the views.
