The manor house took its present form around 1890 through the conversion of an older building (parts of which date back to the early 19th century) by the architect Wilhelm Buttel, a student of Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
It belonged to various aristocratic families, such as von Maltzahn, von Blücher, and von Oertzen.
After 1945, it served as refugee accommodation, and during the GDR era, it housed a kindergarten, a consumer cooperative, and community rooms, among other things.

Vandring
The Schloss Marihn is now a magical hotel with only 7 suites. We recommend!! His park was redesigned by David Austen in 2009 with 10,000 rose bushes in the course of the Federal Garden Show.
