Vandring

The church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur is the parish church of the village of Clermont in the Belgian municipality of Thimister-Clermont. This church was built from 1628 to 1632 on the foundations of an older church from the 13th century.

Vandring

The tower dominates the wide, almost blind gable and probably rises on a medieval core. The church is not very high and has a bell tower covered with slate, with an octagonal spire above it. The transept, which is not very noticeable, is built of rubble and is characteristic because of its height, which corresponds to that of the choir, which is small and is closed off by a triangular apse.
