For me, the Friesenbergsee is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes. Surrounded by a rather barren landscape, it radiates a very special and mystical atmosphere. From the Friesenberghaus, located at 2,472 meters above sea level, you have a very special play of light, especially at sunrise or dusk.

Below the Friesenberghaus is the picturesque Friesenbergsee. Past the lake, the ascent continues in steep switchbacks uphill to the high path under the frozen wall.
