Blank Hans stands on the dike crossing in Tossens. The sculpture is part of the “Invisible Sights” series, created by the artists Bärbel Deharde and Ute Extra.
If climate change continues and the storms become stronger, "Blank Hans" will certainly hit the Butjadinger coast more often. It has been in Tossens since 2009. Even when there is no wind, it sits on the top of the dike as a constant reminder made of stainless steel.
