Duchroth is a gem on the Nahe River. Duchroth is known for its excellent wines. With 555 residents and multiple award-winning wines, it is located in the most scenic section of the Nahe River between Bad Kreuznach and Bad Sobernheim.

Vandring

Duchroth, the village of vines and roses, received the gold medal in the 2016 national competition “Our Village Has a Future”, the cash medal in the 2017 European competition “Entente Florale Europe” and in 2018, together with Oberhausen, the European Village Renewal Prize for outstanding achievements.

Vandring

I think the section through Duchroth is one of the most beautiful of the tour. At the edge of the village you come to a pond with a frog concert. Behind it is a small St. Hildegard herb garden and a small path between the gardens leads to another Hildegard herb garden and then along the ring wall to the village church and out of the village
