The Stockau source is primarily a highlight for me because it involves a small incident: the search for a source that is drawn on an old map from 1910.

Spring / summer 2013
Shortly after moving to Rodgau, my husband discovered this source on the old map. Back then we went looking for it with two children. We almost wanted to give up when our visitor child discovered the source - totally grown. Above all, we remembered that the boy then had countless ticks on the body. Everything was forgotten at first.

Today - in January 2021 - I passed the Stockau Born again. Depending on the season, the place looks different than in early summer. But there has also been another change. Two laminated pieces of information with information hang from a tree trunk near the fountain. So you can read a little bit about the history of the Börnchen on site.
