The cable cars are not only ideal for hiking, but also for biking: With a valid lift ticket, bike transport is free. And it's worth it. A wonderful ascent aid for both hikers and mountain bikers. During the ascent you can enjoy the entire landscape around the Ehrwald Basin. For bikers, there are then descents into the valley on several technically demanding trails (blind lake trail, aisle trails) or simply the wide gravel path, which you have to share with the hikers. For hikers, the ridge hike from the Grubigstein to the Gartnerwand is ideal.
