Renamed the Silver Forest after burning down in 2011, this section is slowly but surely recovering from the ravages of the fire. So much so that the huemules and the birds of prey are gradually resuming their quarters there.
For information, the fire was started by hikers who wanted to burn their toilet paper after defecating in nature. an event that reminds us that it is important to respect the areas dedicated to different uses: toilets and shelters fitted out for the use of "stoves".
