This pond was created in the 1970s by residents and Soviet soldiers and used as a natural pool, which, however, had to be closed after reunification because the EU standards, especially regarding the prescribed depth of vision, were not met.
Today the former natural pool is used as a recreation area. It is a fishing water. Some teenagers still bathe there. If you do this, you should use bathing shoes because there is a risk of tearing into a torn fish hook.
