Cykling

Old cath. Village church St. Josef, built in 1927. The church with about 90 seats can be used by arrangement for family events. Further information can be obtained in the Catholic parish office Maria Heimsuchung. Birkenalle 60, 91088 Bubenreuth, phone 09131/24550.

Vandring

St. Josefskirche is located on the main road towards Bräuningshof. After lengthy planning, the church was built in 1927 with the active help of the population as a branch church of the Erlangen parish of Herz-Jesu. With the settlement of the Schönbach violin makers in 1949 it became too small. The then chaplain Wilhelm Pilz, who was the first pastor for Bubenreuth in 1953, then also campaigned for the construction of a larger church.
