Cykling
the oldest building, was built as a wire mill in 1622, when the water power of the dammed Ammersbek River was used to produce brass wire.
In 1687, the Kupfermühle was built on the ruins of the first mill, and at the same time, the Kupferhof was built as a residential building.
Today, only the Kupfermühle, the Master's House,
and the old Kupferhof remain of the former industrial complex.
