Here was one of the locations for the first film adaptation of Wilhelm Hauff's fairy tale "The Cold Heart". 1950 DEFA on AgfaColor under the direction of Paul Verhoeven with the brilliant Erwin Geschonneck as "Dutchman Michel". According to legend, an ugly giant wanted to marry a mermaid. When he took this to the extreme, he was turned to stone. The three holes in the rock are the ovens, the big one for bread, the middle one for rolls and the smallest one for cakes.
But nothing came of the wedding.
    Oh 😎 cave.
