On the island of the pond system, popularly known as "The Whale" (likely from the moat), stands a Chinese tea pavilion, which was formerly crowned with a wind harp. The Keppritz stream feeds the artificial pond system and then flows into the adjacent floodplain forest, a nature reserve, and into the Jahna river.

Cykling
Beautiful parkland surrounding the castle. It was built in 1786 and is currently under reconstruction. Part of the large complex is slowly being converted into living quarters and studios, while the majority is still under construction.
