New Wardour Castle is a magnificent Grade I listed English country house located near Tisbury in Wiltshire, England.     New Wardour Castle is a Grade I-listed country house situated in idyllic Wiltshire parkland. The house was built between 1769-76 in the Palladian style. Between 1961-90, the house was Cranborne Chase boarding school for girls. Approximately 1.5 miles (2 km) from the house stand the ruins of Old Wardour Castle. Unfortunately, New Wardour Castle is now in private ownership and is not open to visitors. However, the Wessex Ridgeway trail passes right beside it so you can still admire the fine architecture and glorious parkland.
