Vandring

You are standing here in a volcanic cone that collapsed in prehistoric times. The columnar basalt was mined here until 1913. And the witch's house was - hard to believe - the house of the demolition expert. It was converted into a shelter in 1930/1952.

Cykling

This former basalt quarry is beautifully situated in the forest. The rock formations are very fragile and must not be entered or climbed. The area with the Hexenhäusl is a wonderful place to rest, especially on hot summer days.
