Blairgowrie is one of the largest towns in Perthshire and is a vibrant place to explore with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Situated on the banks of the River Ericht, the town is known as the ‘gateway to Glenshee’ and caters for outdoor enthusiasts all year round.

Plenty of cafes for a break, a Subway for some carbs and even a big Tesco for a real stock-up on goodies. And of course, the road bridge gets you across the barrier known as the River Ericht.

Bustling little town, with several trails, the riverside path, and cafes. Parking near the river too to start a walk.
