Vandring
This small forest park with its strong differences in height can be found on the former Altona gravel pit site, right next to the Luther Church. The old farming village of Bahrenfeld became an important military site between 1890 and 1914. The approximately 8.4-hectare site was formerly the Bahrenfeld city park designed by Ferdinand Tutenberg, one of the first parks in the area. Differences in height offer attractive views here.
Today, remnants of the earlier design can still be found in the forest park.

Vandring
The Lutherpark, the former Bahrenfeld city park, was one of the first public green spaces in Altona that was created under Ferdinand Tutenberg. When the church council of Ottensen decided in 1908 to build its own church for the Bahrenfeld population, there were three plots to choose from.

Vandring
The Luther Church was built in a place that was once called "beautiful view" and presumably also had a corresponding view. At the moment this is by no means the case because of the nearby motorway. But that will change when the lid is finished. Meanwhile, you can stroll through mountains and valleys in the rear part. There is no more to be heard from the nearby motorway.
