Comfortable to reach from Muttereralmbahn or Götznerbahn, wonderful panorama. Several nice huts on the route.

Great view of the Inn Valley and Innsbruck, into the Stubaital, towards Kalkspitzen. All in all, we had an almost wild and romantic day with changes of fog, sun and clouds.

The Nockspitze is certainly the most popular mountain of the Innsbrucker, to be inspired by the sunrise. Many torture themselves out of bed in the middle of the night to admire the natural spectacle. It is therefore even wiser to sleep upstairs and marvel at both sunrise and sunset. The special: Even if the summit is still snowy, can drive on the south side of a fabulous trail.
