Vandring

Stone steps, wooden steps, metal steps - probably even more than 1,000 pieces. Up and down, the Meraner Höhenweg winds along the steep slopes of the Texel group. As a reward for the effort, there are always wonderful views into the Adige Valley and the Vinschgau Valley.

The hike through the "1000-step gorge", from Giggelberg to Unterstell, leads through a spectacular landscape on the southern slopes of the Texel Group in the Ötztal Alps. Thanks to the two cable car rides, at the start of the tour and at the end of the tour, the landscape can be enjoyed especially intensively on the Meraner Land and in the mountains of South Tyrol.
