Vandring

Rock point on the hill path with a beautiful view of the valley and over it. That famous nose of Napoleon you come across more often in the Ardennes as a name for rock points.

"When Franz-Georg von Metternich-Ochsenhausen sold Reinhardstein Castle in 1812, its fate seemed sealed. From then on, the castle was used as a quarry. Professor Overloop was enthusiastic about what was left of the building 150 years later. The scholar left the ruins to Stein from 1970 onwards Rebuild the stone. As a model, he used comparable buildings in the nearby Eifel. Today, Reinhardstein Castle is enthroned as proudly as it was in its heyday on the rocky spur. Inside the castle there is an impressive collection of furniture, weapons and tapestries that can be viewed ."
