Vandring

The rose has a special meaning in Bad Tölz. It used to be a symbol of the prosperity of the small town on the Isar and was considered a trademark of the handicrafts made in the village. Today a park is dedicated to the queen of flowers: the Streidlgarten-Rosenpark, right behind the tourist information in the spa district. In the park surrounded by the former monastery walls, an interesting variety of rose varieties thrives, including some old and rare ones such as the pale pink and strongly scented "Tölzer Rose".

Vandring

The Franziskaner spa garden and the neighboring rose park are a blooming oasis at the beginning of the city's spa district. With the associated area of the Franciscan Church and the former Franciscan monastery, they are considered places of rest.
