Amalfi holds centuries of history in its folds of stone and sea. Born in Roman times, passed through the hands of the Byzantines and Lombards, in the Middle Ages it became one of the powerful Maritime Republics, an undisputed protagonist of trade in the Mediterranean between the 9th and 11th centuries.

Today, its splendor is told by the narrow streets that climb between colorful houses, the ruined towers and the remains of ancient fortifications: living traces of a past that still whispers between the walls.
