    Vandring

    The Berlin Olympiastadion station is a station in the Westend district of Berlin. It consists of a suburban train station, which is regularly served by the trains of the Berlin S-Bahn, and a head station for special trains at events in the nearby Olympic Stadium. At the opening of the Grunewald racecourse, the station went into operation in May 1909 under the name Rennbahn and was extensively renovated on the occasion of the 1936 Summer Olympics. Between 1980 and 1998 the traffic stopped on the suburban train.
