The route via this pass is not included on the British Mountain Maps, but OSM knows it.
It is not a difficult path per se, but it is pathless. Traces of the path can be found now and then, but not continuously.
There are some fords to come up with.
The descent is also pathless to the road in the deforested forest (towards Sourdalan Bothy).
The descent is steeper and a little more difficult, but actually not very difficult.
