The steep cliff face of the Teutonia Cliffs is up to 15 meters high. The impressive rock face is beautifully situated in the Teutoburg Forest/Egge Mountains Nature Park. The area is located in the area of an abandoned iron ore mine.

In the west of Willebadessen, on the ridge of the Egge Mountains, are the Teutonia cliffs, which are heavily overgrown with lichen and mosses and are made of red sandstone, some of which have block heaps.
The site is located in the area of a former iron ore mine. At the former mining sites, there are still tunnels, pits, heaps and pits as evidence of the iron industry. The area around the cliffs, which is now close to nature and unspoilt, got its name when the Teutonia Company bought up the forest.
