Vandring

Easy, leisurely hiking trail. If you hike on the west side of the lake you have a wonderful view of the lake. The east side is wooded. During the week we were the only guests in Alt-Kaster. Nice medieval place. For the stay with a hike around the lake (approx. 2.5 km), a leisurely stop should be planned for 3 hours

Vandring

Through the creation of an approximately 8 hectare forest area, the Kasterer Höhe, as well as an embedded lake, the Kasterer See, an important local recreation area has been created here, which contributes to the fact that Bedburg has remained a city in the green.

The lake with a maximum length of 1000 m and a width of 125 m offers ideal conditions for observation walks for the numerous water birds that have settled here.
