The Höchhand is the highest mountain (1314 m) in the Tössbergland (the next higher is Tweralpspitz). It forms the northern end of the Goldingertal. Very nice view (through sparse trees) to the south (Goldingertal, partly Alps) and north (Scheidegg, Hüttchopf, Schnebelhorn) and east (Habrütispitz, Rtg Chrüzegg). Very nice atmospheric "summit pateau" with old, weathered trees in front of the steeply sloping south side.
