Vandring

Bad Langensalza is the second largest city in the Unstrut-Hainich district. The RE line 1 (Göttingen-Glauchau (Sachs.)), The RE 2 Kassel Wilhelmshöhe – Erfurt Hbf, the RB 52 Erfurt Hbf – Leinefelde and the RB 53 Gotha – Bad Langensalza stop here. All lines are operated by DB Regio and run every two hours except for the hourly RB 53.

Vandring

Bad Langensalza station is a dividing station in Bad Langensalza on the Gotha–Leinefelde railway and the Kühnhausen–Bad Langensalza branch line. The Bad Langensalza–Haussömmern narrow-gauge railway, which ran until 1970, used Langensalza Süd station, which was opposite the state station.

The station is controlled by an electronic signal box. It has been equipped with point train control (PZB) since 2002.

There is a bus station near the train station.
