The rock quality is very good. There are about 50 very well secured climbing routes in the III. - IX. Degree. Information can also be found via the DAV rock information system (felsinfo.alpenverein.de). The climbing guide "Göttinger Wald" by Peter Brunnert (Panico-Verlag - currently out of print, a new edition is planned for 2022) offers better information. In the western part of the wall there is a high density of silicification, which allows for safe training at ground level.
