The post mile post is no longer the original from 1730. It had to make way for a monument in the 19th century. In the 1970s, the area was redesigned, and to create a historical atmosphere, a replica of the old obelisk was erected. It is approximately 5 meters high and is framed by the Spittel Colonnades. These, too, are no longer originals. Originally, there were two colonnades framing a bridge. The bridge also no longer exists, and only the southern colonnade has been reconstructed. The originals fell victim to war damage and the widening of the street.
