The Pointe du Grouin is the wild coast north of Cancale. There is a very strong sea current that can be seen firsthand.

Dominated by a semaphore built in 1861, it offers a remarkable view over the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel and the Channel coasts to the east, and over a succession of coves and points to Cap Fréhel in the 'Where is.

Beautiful windswept place with magnificent views. New development work will make it wilder, particularly with the parking lot being moved back.
