Vandring
With the Roman sports and recreation center, another imposing structure came to light. In the high school, a kind of public school, the Romans trained body and mind. It consisted of a walkway (xystos) and a large exercise area (palastra) delimited by marble columns. The walls of the thermal baths, eight meters high, adorned paintings and some of the mosaics that were still preserved, but all of these are witnesses of the time when Salamis was no longer an independent kingdom, but an albeit important port city under Roman administration like many others ,
