With a drop of 114 meters, it is the eleventh highest waterfall in Germany. The Sulzer waterfall was created by backward erosion of the Almbach in the Ramsau Dolomites on the southern flank of the Untersberg. It falls into the Almbachklamm in a total of five cascades. The Sulzbach flows with its waterfall into the Almbach at this point. The Sulzer waterfall is largely devoid of vegetation.
